Sangria Supreme
Made by Tennessee Bartenders
1. Prepare simple syrup mix by boiling 1 cup or water and sugar and cool.
2. Dice apples into 1/4 inch rectangular, odd sized, chunks. Cut lemons and limes into small medium wedges. Cut clementines into thin wheels. Leave grapes whole.
3. Throw all of fruit into the bottom of a large conainer, pour in all 4 bottles of wine, 1/2 cup of pineapple rum, 1/2 cup of triple sec, and all of your simple syrup mixture.
4. Cautiously, bruise the fruit with a wooden spoon (the secret here is to lightly press on the fruits squeezing a portion of their juices into the mixture, without defacing them)
5. Let this mixture sit in the refrigerator for about 8 hours.
6. When ready to serve pour this mixture into your serving container or pitcher and top with gingerale. You should aim to top with about 40/60 proportions of both. So if using a pitcher fill 60% up with sangria and the other 40% with ginger ale. Always add the gingerale just before serving and give a slight swirl to mix the ingredients.
